Our Toilet Got Clogged So Badly We Called a Plumber

When our toilet got seriously clogged, we expected a long, messy fix. But the plumber who came didn’t even reach for a plunger. Instead, he used a surprising household ingredient that cleared the blockage instantly.

Here’s what he did:

  1. He poured baking soda directly into the toilet bowl — about one cup.
  2. Then, he added vinegar — roughly one cup as well.
  3. The mixture fizzed and bubbled, working its way through the clog.
  4. After letting it sit for about 15 minutes, he flushed the toilet, and the blockage was gone.
